In Double Make-Up, photos from portrait picture databases and animations that illustrate the work of face detection algorithms serve as the backdrop for a video performance. Inspired by Bruce Nauman’s video Art Make-Up (1967), the artist applies camouflage patterns to his skin and finally erases his own image from the screen.
