The exhibition The Next Conversation shows international artists who investigate the complexity of our mediatized present with humor and irony. It shows an area of tension between the current glorified and/or dystopian scenarios of a technologized future. The Next Conversation searches for poetic means to talk about the present and its possible growth.

The Gallery ABTART in Stuttgart has invited БüKü – Bureau for Cultural Translations Leipzig as a cooperative partner. The focus of the curators Kristina Semenova and Olga Vostretsova was set on artists from the cities of Moscow and Leipzig.

Artists: Rania Akl, Suzana Brborović, Jaeyong Choi, Lorenza Diaz, Renan Ran Harari, Timo Hinze, Stefan Hurtig, Kristina Jurotschkin, Taisia Korotkova, Cal Lane, Marie-Eve Levasseur, Via Lewandowsky, Alexander Povzner, Norbert Reissig, Christian Schellenberger, Hayahisa Tomiyasu, Hannes Waldschütz, Susan Winter, Anna Zholud
