Artist book
»Hurtig’s linguistic analysis of the casting show Germany’s Next Topmodel forms the basis for a monologue which, collaged out of quotations from the show, sometimes poetically and sometimes aggressively issues a call for self-improvement. Through the abstractions in text and visual language, the work transcends the theme of casting shows and investigates norms, gender roles, expectations in the professional world, self-improvement, and self-representation.« (Sarah Waldschmitt, Kunstmuseum Bonn)
